CKS Mobile Dialysis Unit Update
Hire Charges
The current fees are as follows:
(all include GST, insurance and road user charges)
1. New Zealand dialysis patient's $100 bond
plus $25/day or $125 per week.
2. Overseas dialysis patients $500 bond
plus $125/day or 550 per week.
Bond and hire fees must be paid in full by either cash or cheque when picking the vehicle up.
(Note: The Christchurch Kidney Society will consider the reduction or waiving of these fees for any dialysis patient under the care of the Nephrology Department, Christchurch Hospital, for whom their payment would be a burden.

Booking Requirements
The Mobile Dialysis Unit is available to all dialysis patients under the care of the Nephrology Department, Christchurch Hospital with the following order of priority.
1. Dialysis patients under the care of the Nephrology
Department, Christchurch Hospital can book up to
12 months in advance.
2. Dialysis patients under the care of other Nephrology
Departments, may book up to 3 months in advance
(haemodialysis only).
3. Hire period is limited to 2 weeks between New Zealand
Labour Weekend and Easter.
